FoodAgri.AITalk to us

Knowledge only. General information, templates and checklists for food businesses, not legal or tax advice. FoodAgri.AI is not a law firm or an accounting firm. You are responsible for reviewing your own contracts and for engaging, at your own cost, any attorney or CPA you choose.

Legal and compliance

Before you sign the buyer's paper.

Large customers usually send their own contract. We explain, in general terms, the clauses buyers' contracts usually contain and what to ask about. You are responsible for reviewing your contract; your own attorney, whom you choose and pay, advises you.

What gets checked

The terms that usually matter most

What each clause usually means, before you talk to your attorney.

Money

  • Chargebacks and deductions. What the buyer can take off an invoice, and for what.
  • Payment terms. When you get paid and what can delay it.

Risk

  • Indemnity. Who pays if something goes wrong.
  • Insurance asks. Which certificates and limits the buyer wants.

Operations

  • Recall and withdrawal duties. Who does what, and who pays.
  • Ending the agreement. Notice periods and what happens to stock.

Any attorney or CPA you use is your own choice, engaged and paid by you. We do not hire, bill or receive fees from advisers.

How it works

Who does what

We provide the knowledge, templates and checklists. You review your own contracts, and professionals you choose and pay give the advice.

We provide

  • What usually applies. A checklist for your stage, products and states, with the agency source for each item.
  • Templates. Contract, policy and website-page templates with plain notes on each clause, for you and your attorney to adapt.
  • The calendar. Renewal and review dates in one place, with reminders.

Your own attorney does

  • Reviews legal documents, if you ask. Contracts, policies and anything you will sign or publish. You are responsible for that review, and you choose and pay the attorney directly.
  • Answers legal questions. Advice comes from the attorney you choose and pay, not from us. We do not hire or bill an attorney for you.

Others do

  • Your own CPA or enrolled agent. Tax elections, payroll tax, sales tax and returns. You choose and pay them directly.
  • You or a food safety consultant. Agency registrations and filings, and your food safety plan.
  • An insurance broker. Product liability and recall cover.

Get clear before the expensive commitments

A 30-minute call tells you what you need next and what you would receive. The same four steps for every path, and you decide at the end of each one whether to go on.

  1. Step 1A 30-minute call

You tell us what you make and what you need. No slides. We say plainly if we are not the right fit.

  2. Step 2Quick research

A short brief: who buys, what the rules say, where the price room is, and the sources behind each answer.

  3. Step 3Plan and build

The pages, videos, reports and outreach drafts the plan needs, in your brand.

  4. Step 4Launch and measure

You approve every send and post. We report what worked and change what did not.
